New Coca‑Cola Mural Unveiled on Springfield’s Route 66

SPRINGFIELD, MO, May 2, 2026 – Ozarks Coca‑Cola, the Missouri State University Foundation, and The Coca‑Cola Company are pleased to announce the installation of a vibrant new Coca‑Cola mural along Springfield’s historic stretch of Route 66.

Created as part of Coca-Cola’s America250 Paint the Nation initiative, the mural is located on the east façade of The Old Glass Place at 521 E. St. Louis St. The artwork was designed and painted by local artist and Missouri State University alum Meg Wagler, whose work brings a bold, contemporary interpretation to one of America’s most iconic brands and its partnership with the university. The project was managed by ABV Agency in Atlanta, Georgia.

This installation represents the only Missouri mural in the nationwide series, marking a significant moment of recognition for the region’s creative community and its connection to Route 66 heritage.
