Full-Service Driver/Route Person

SUMMARY:  Responsible for delivery of full product to the vender; filling and cleaning, maintaining accurate sales records, while providing inventory and cash accountability in accordance with Company Policy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned or requested.

Follow good manufacturing and housekeeping practices. Follow/comply with all safety guidelines, wear designated PPE and comply with all OSHA safety standards.

Must have the ability to identify and understand customer requirements.

Be properly attired when arriving at work to include proper uniform (clean and pressed), hat (Coke identified only), black hard toe polished shoes (no tennis shoes), be clean shaven with hair well groomed, and good personal hygiene.

Perform the following activities prior to leaving the facility for the day – collect route book, money bags, change fund if required, price decals, POS, keys (to be secured on person at all times), unserved customer list from prior day, cleaning/tool kit, trash bags.

Perform the check out for the product on delivery truck as beginning inventory, ensure that count agrees with supervisor’s count, sign and complete inventory paperwork, close and lock all bay doors.

Complete pre trip to include inspection of vehicle, check fuel, oil and water levels of vehicle, check brakes, tires and lights, adjust all mirrors for safe operation of equipment, check and secure the hand cart.

Service all customers schedule for the day.

When arriving at an account, greet the decision maker whenever possible, check appearance of the vender, review all POS to ensure it is clean, check for proper price decals for all products, remove all posters and graffiti from venders, clean outside of vender and make sure all lights are working properly, report any sign of vandalism to your supervisor immediately, make note of any uncompetitive activities for later discussion with supervisor.

Inspect the inside of the vender to include – test of the validator, clean and check the condenser, clean the coin acceptor, check and remove any damaged product, verify the existence of the vender history card.

Properly fill the vender to include – fill each column to its designated capacity in units, record the meter reading by customer number and place into money bag, collect all money from the validator and changer/coin box and place in money bag, maintain the changer to prescribed levels as determined by company standards, address all refund requests, test vend the vender with coins, and lock/secure the vender.

Before leaving the vender – all attempts should be made to correct any service issues, if issues remain contact the service group prior to leaving the account, update route card with all information required by company standards, place all money into truck safe, if possible thank the decision maker for his business, pickup all trash and empty cans, secure hand cart and all bay doors before proceeding to next stop.

Loader/Warehouse Person

SUMMARY:  Responsible for pulling orders based on pick ticket to accurately build orders for loading onto delivery trucks.  98.8% accuracy is goal for order picking.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned or requested.

Physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment.

Build customer orders according to assigned load tickets.

Operate industrial power equipment for lifting and moving product.

Stage completed pallets in designated area.

Manually lift and move product to restock and repack ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation of product.

Adhere to good manufacturing and safety standards.

Responsible for meeting productivity requirements.

Maintain orderly and clean work area to comply with Company safety and sanitation requirements.

Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.

Order count verification per ASN (Advanced Ship Notice), verification of order prior to delivery of product – 98.8% accuracy required.

COMPETENCIES: Demonstrated attention to detail.  Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift.  Prior warehouse experience preferred.

Ability to climb into route trucks over 50 inches from floor level to remove pallets and products weighing up to 75 pounds to service up to 94 bays per shift.

Full dexterity of hands, arms and wrists necessary to reach a height of 72 inches while removing cases weighing from 10 to 40 pounds from the top of the pallet several times per shift.

The floors of the warehouse area are smooth, however are often wet and slippery.

Large doors remain open to allow trucks to enter and leave the work area; consequently working temperatures may vary accordingly.

Moderate stress may be created by the fast pace of the loader/warehouse operations; and long shifts during summer months (work until trucks are loaded).

 

 

 

Pull-Up Employee

SUMMARY:  Entry level, position responsible for merchandising assigned beverage locations as required at retail outlets that sell Ozarks Coca-Cola/Dr Pepper Bottling Company products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned or requested.

Build and maintain product displays in compliance with Company standards.

Maintain appropriate product levels in beverage sections and throughout assigned accounts to include shelf allocation and cold drink equipment.

Maintain a clean, neat appearance and courteous businesslike conduct at all times. The Company Appearance Standards Policy applies at all times.

Wear Company provided uniforms while on duty, or appropriate dress as instructed by supervisor.

Duties include, utilization of personal vehicle to travel between stores on assigned route, with mileage reimbursement.

Meet customer service expectations through daily communication, problem resolution and appropriate follow up.

Maintain professional team relationship with co-workers and customers.

Maintain merchandising standards while rotating products in designated accounts.

Transport, replace and maintain point of sale advertising as appropriate for assigned accounts.

Remove improper packaging, defaced or dirty containers/cartons. Credit damaged product and return to plant/facility.

Face all products for customer appeal.

Stack and un-stack cases of soft drinks weighing between 5 to 40 pounds continuously.

Move heavy pallets with hand jacks.

Utilize forklift or electric pallet jacks when possible.

Complete all store paperwork at each stop, to include check in and out with management.

Work assigned stores in order of instruction.

Report low stock conditions to management.

Report any unsafe conditions to management.

Required to join union after completion of probation period.
